Refunds
Sable is free to use today and nothing is charged for it. This policy sets out how refunds work for any paid plan offered in the future, so that the terms are on the record before anyone is asked for money.
What is charged today
Nothing. Every feature is available at no cost, there is no plan to buy, and no payment details are collected anywhere in the product.
Anyone using Sable while it is free stays on those terms. A paid plan, if one is ever introduced, applies to new purchases and is never applied retroactively to work you have already done.
The refund window
If a paid plan is offered, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the payment for any reason at all. You do not need to justify the request and you will not be asked to.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank decides how quickly the money appears, which is usually within five to ten working days.
After the window
Beyond 14 days a subscription can be cancelled at any time and will not renew. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Where a payment was clearly taken in error, a duplicate charge or a renewal after a cancellation, it is refunded in full regardless of how long ago it happened.
Your records either way
A refund or a cancellation never removes your invoices, clients or expenses. They stay on your machine, and the export in Settings produces a complete copy at any moment.
This is the point of Sable storing your work locally. Ending a payment relationship should not cost you your records, so it does not.
How to ask
Write to the support address on this site with the address you paid from. There is no form to complete and no retention offer to sit through.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live, which in many places is broader than this policy.
