Terms
Sable is free to use, for anything you like, including invoicing paying clients. There is no plan to buy and nothing is charged.
What you get
Sable is provided as it is. It is a tool for writing and tracking invoices; it is not an accountant, a tax adviser or a lawyer, and nothing it produces is financial advice.
You are responsible for what your invoices say: the amounts, the tax, the terms, and whether they meet the rules where you and your client are.
Your work is yours
Every invoice, client and expense you create belongs to you. Sable claims no ownership of any of it and never will.
You can export all of it to JSON or CSV at any moment, without asking, from Settings. That export is a complete copy, so that leaving is never a loss.
Interruptions
Sable runs in your browser, so it keeps working offline and keeps working if the cloud side is down.
Optional sync depends on Google's servers. That service can be slow, unavailable, or discontinued, and none of that is within our control.
Ending it
Uninstall the extension whenever you like. If you also want the account and the cloud copy gone, use Settings → Delete account first. Uninstalling alone leaves the cloud copy in place.
We may stop offering Sable, or change how it works, at any time. If the cloud side is ever retired, the extension keeps working on your own machine, because that is where your data already lives.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sable is not liable for lost income, lost data, or an invoice that went out wrong. Please keep your own backups. The export button exists for exactly this.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
